Olga Muzychko

Olga Muzychko is an artist living and working in Toronto.
Growing up in artistic family at the coast of a Black Sea, Russia, she was surrounded by creative atmosphere most of her life. Olga studied painting in Russia and at Toronto School of art.

Her favorite subjects are landscape and city scape, she is nostalgically drawn to beauty of old, charming streets and spectacular architectural works.

…”I adhere to the realistic principles of the Russian school. I see realism as an advanced graphic language, with no limit to its continuing opportunities. My teacher is nature itself –its beauty is everywhere. As I work, I feel the most important and complex decision I make involves which color to use for each part of an image.”

With this exhibition Olga shows her fascination with urban landscape.
She exhibits regularly in local galleries and abroad. Her paintings can be found in private collections in Canada, US and Russia.
